Most of the renowned on-line dictionaries will suffice to answer your enquires. Some of them, apart from standard AmE or BR pronaunciation tools, offer also special sound effects. Say, from the definition given, you are sitll not sure, what the noise "growl" means. Go to the the Macmillan Online Dictionary, click on one of the two note signs and listen.
